After twelve years working in the business in Chicago and New York, she brings creative ideas to life in studio and on location, using digital cameras and the best light she can dream up! She started with a background rooted in visual art at the School for Creative and Performing Arts, OTR Cincinnati. It was there that she studied color theory, painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, and book making before she ever entered a darkroom. Although we live in a digital world, Marlene strives to hold onto properties that produce a more genuine aesthetic. She splits her time between Cincinnati and Brooklyn pursuing commercial and artistic endeavors. A few notable clients include: Gilt Groupe, Tory Burch, Holly Hunt, Gawker Media, Dyson Electronics and Cincinnati Magazine.
